As it is cold this time of year it is the perfect time to get some swim k’s in the bank and work on technique. One thing most people assume is that triathletes don’t need a strong kick as they need to save their legs for the ride and run. This is a silly statement I guess we better not ride hard to save our leg for the run then.

The fact is to be a good swimmer you need to kick otherwise you will not be streamline in the water and create drag and make yourself slower and work harder, every triathlete should practise their kick we are defiantly not the best at it with our stiff ankles from running but it is very important to swim success and last time I checked swimming was a part of triathlon.
