First tri in about 12 months today. Did a great job social distancing. I was bed ridden over Xmas and NY with a chest infection which was really disappointing as I felt I was in good shape. Having only done less than two weeks of training going into today’s race, I knew it wasn’t going to be great. I decided to go ahead and race just for the love of it. Worst time I’ve done since I can remember. And as much as that hurts the ego, it was still great to be out there.
